Shanghai Golden Phillips takes HDPE unit off stream

Shanghai Golden Phillips has undertaken a planned shutdown at its High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit.

A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the unit for maintenance on March 4, 2025. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”

Located in Shanghai, China, the HDPE unit has production capacity of 140,000 mt/year.
