Propylene prices rise in Asia
On Thursday, Asian propylene prices moved higher, supported by stronger upstream naphtha values and ongoing supply concerns. However, downstream buyers continued to procure material mainly to meet immediate requirements, limiting overall trading activity despite the price increase.
FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1005-1015/mt levels, up by USD 30/mt from Wednesday.
CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1045-1055/mt levels, higher by USD 30/mt from the previous day.
