On Monday, despite higher upstream naphtha values, ethylene prices fell in Northeast Asia and remained stable in Southeast Asia.
CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 795-805/mt levels, down USD (-10/mt) from last Friday. The price decline was driven by sluggish demand and restrained buying activity in the region.
CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed flat at USD 785-795/mt levels. Prices remained unchanged amid subdued regional market momentum.
