Ethylene prices slip in parts of Asia
On Tuesday, ethylene prices fell sharply in Southeast Asia, while they remained steady in Northeast Asia.
CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 900-910/mt levels, a decrease of USD (-30/mt) from Monday's assessed levels. Prices declined amid weaker upstream energy values, dull demand, and subdued trading activity in the region.
CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 895-905/mt levels, stable day-on-day. Prices remained unchanged amid subdued regional market momentum.
