On Monday, ethylene prices rose in Southeast Asia, while they remained stable in North East Asia.
CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1255-1265/mt levels, an increase of USD (+20/mt) from last Friday's assessed levels. Prices marched higher mainly due to bullish upstream energy values and improved regional buying activity.
CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1205-1215/mt levels, steady from last Friday. Prices remained unchanged in the region amid subdued demand conditions.
