Ethylene prices slip in Asia
On Monday, ethylene prices were assessed lower in Asia.
Prices fell sharply, primarily driven by a plunge in upstream naphtha values. Meanwhile, market conditions remained weak, with softer downstream demand keeping buying activity subdued.
CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1305-1315/mt levels, sharply down by USD (-40/mt) from last Friday's assessed levels.
CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1275-1285/mt levels, a sharp decline of USD (-40/mt) from last Friday.
