Propylene prices increase in Asia
On Tuesday, despite a plunge in upstream crude and naphtha values, propylene prices marched higher in Asia.
Prices rose mainly due to reduced regional output, amid supply disruptions caused by geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East.
FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1325-1335/mt levels, a rise of USD (+20/mt) from Monday's assessed levels.
CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1335-1345/mt levels, an increase of USD (+20/mt) from the previous day.
