Asian Ethylene prices rise on tight supply and firmer upstream values
On Thursday, Asian ethylene prices moved higher, supported by stronger upstream crude oil and naphtha values.
Tight regional supply, along with restocking activity to meet immediate requirements and expectations that elevated ethylene prices will continue through the end of the month, provided further support to the market.
CFR Southeast Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 915-925/mt levels, up by USD (+20/mt) from Wednesday's assessment.
CFR Northeast Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 975-985/mt levels, a sharp increase of USD (+30/mt) from the previous day's assessment.
